     Title: Pilots Do their first single with Blank Studios

Local Newcastle based indie outfit, The Pilots have just struck a deal with Play to Work Recordings to release their first single, Alarms.

The recordings were made with Blank Studios in their own practice room under Byker Bridge, a cavernous stone archway with a thunderous drum sound. The single is tipped to be released as a double A side featuring Alarms and Speed of Time. It will also be made available for purchase online along with a third track Tied to Gold. These guys are seriously talented musicians who exploit their ability through raw high energy, catchy rock. The single launch will be at the Tyne Bar on the 3rd of May where they will be playing with Balao who are also launching their new single, 'Summer Hill'.
